  • Cedarhurst Craft Fair (September 5-7, 2008) Mt. Vernon, IL - I think this one will be really really good. “Join the 20,000 visitors during this two-day event held each year the first weekend after Labor Day. More that 160 exhibitors from throughout the country show and sell crafts as diverse as feather jewelry, contemporary furniture, quilting, pottery, woodworking, glass, and ceramics. The fair includes continuous entertainment, children’s activities, and a variety of foods. Cedarhurst Craft Fair was named a Top 100 Event in North America by the American Bus Association in 2003.   • Strange Folk Festival in O’Fallon, IL, September 27th and 28th. Tentatively, our hours will be Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 10-4.

  • Apple Festival, Murphysboro, IL (Mid September)http://www.murphysboro.com/index.php?p=103 $45 for booth space before July 31, 2008. This is a 3 day event, and gets lots of traffic. Not exactly everything is hand made, but if you have a lot of goods, then this is the show for you. Kid friendly and less expensive items seem to do the best. This will be my second year- hope to see you there!!
